Very busy, but rightfully so. Stopped by to try this while in town for a day, and glad I did. Great food, good atmosphere, and friendly staff. Pictured is the breakfast hash, sausage egg & cheese sandwich, and biscuits w/gravy.

Wowzah, the food here is amazing. The steamed egg was made to perfection and paired so well with our sandwiches and biscuits and gravy meal. I also got a cute sticker as a souvenir to remember this place by since we came from out of state. 🥚
This place is a top notch breakfast place. I read a review that simply stated “Breakfast Hash, Breakfast Hash, Breakfast Hash,” and guess what, I ordered the Breakfast Hash. Man what a good dish! The location is great, the service is wonderful and fast, and the food is absolutely wonderful. If you are in Kansas City you owe it to yourself to stop by for breakfast, you won’t be sorry. Thank you Mildred’s for taking care of me this weekend. Oh, and don’t forget to order the Breakfast Hash, wow, so good.
Mildred’s was obviously a hot spot for locals to grab lunch. However, that does not mean there wasn’t a place to sit! Many were in there for to go orders, my friend and I had no issue finding a spot to sit. She enjoyed her Guacamole Chicken Club a lot, but round of applause for the Chicken Caesar salad! I loved that the chicken was cold and for a half portion, my plate was huge!! I’m here in a professional capacity, but thought it was super cool they offer shots in your coffee!
Wonderful coffee shop with creative and delicious food in a busy and welcoming atmosphere. I had the morning hash over arugula. My wife had the Quiche and my daughter the avocado chicken sandwich. My first time here and I can’t wait to get back.
Nice little comfy spot with great braked goods and a mean mango peach smoothie. Good sandwiches and soup as well! Staff is Great and I love to just sit and draw when I have the time. Grab a T-shirt and show your love. It's a great coffee shop all round
Perfect for a casual but not 'fast food.' I wish I could have tried a sandwich - but alas, no gluten free bread. The "small" salad was very generous and I enjoyed a gluten-free carrot cupcake - which was phenomenal. The salad was a little hard to dig around in but was loaded with toppings. I personally would have preferred avocado instead of guac. The ingredients were fresh!
Love this place. I walked down to get a pastry today and decided on a cinnamon roll. All the good I’ve had here is great!
The coffee is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious. My daughter is vegan, and had a delicious option. Great KC place!!!
